Our Purpose

Currently, the Bayfield Lion's Club sponsors an array of annual events providing services and raising money for villagers and their community. These events include: the Home & Garden Show, the Lions Breakfast, Lions Walk for Dog Guides, Lions Golf Tournament, Joe Brandon Trout Derby, Turkey Bingo, and Santa's visits to the elderly. 

Our Team & Involvement

We are a small group of men and women with various backgrounds and careers. What unites us together is a common bond of service to our community, those with personal challenges and to those less privileged. Our executive team and list of past serving presidents is listed below.

Our Legacy

Bayfield Lions raise over $25,000 annually from fundraising activities, allocating thee funds to worthy community causes, making donations of sums up to $5,000. Recipients have recently included the Bayfield River Valley Trail Association, Agricultural Society, Anglers Club, Chamber of Commerce, Figure skating, Girl Guides, Garden Club, Soccer Club, Clinton and Goderich Hospitals, Goderich Disaster Fund, Swim Team, SPCA, Children's Aid, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Seaforth and District All Girls Marching Band, Adult Day Care, Camp Menesetung, Zurich Food Bank, and various families and individuals in need.

Bayfield Lions also donate over $10,000 annually to broader Lions projects such as Camp Kirk, Camp Dorset, Lions Home for the Deaf, Lions Quest, CNIB Lake Joe Camp, Youth Exchange, and Campaign Sight First.
